Moving-in day

May 2013

Grace & Light’s Jos team has now moved into the first building on our own land – an office that will eventually become a four-bedroom home for staff members.

For now it has five offices plus kitchen, toilets and a store room filled with books from Book Aid, which we are gradually selling to raise funds for our work.

Though they have less room than in their rented offices, Grace & Light’s eight Nigerian staff are pleased to have their own space.

They are admin & finance manager Jacob Dawuleng, lifesharing & ministry coordinator Abba Zogore, cashier Tina Nanjun, database officer Nansat Dashe, driver & store keeper Bitrus Ibrahim, care & support coordinator Faith Ezekiel, office assistant & cleaner Victoria Sunday and international coordinator Tassie Ghata.

“We ask that you will pray for our protection and that of the things in our office,” says Tassie. “In Nigeria we need to employee security guards to protect the site at night. Until we can do this we are relying on God to keep us safe as volunteers sleep on the floor of the office each night.”

Eventually the team will move to a larger purpose-built office on the site, though this is several years away.
