Increasing support from Nigerians living in Nigeria

Grace & Light’s purpose in challenging Nigerians to live lives that honour God is gaining traction in the country with more and more people choosing to become members and financially support our work.

The latest members signed up during our annual fundraising dinner in Jos at the end of November. Many have since made ongoing monthly financial giving commitments via standing order.

This dinner was organised by Grace & Light’s Fundraising Friends supporters group. They purposely invited people in their networks who were not connected with the charity including business leaders, church leaders and civil servants.

Thirty accepted their invites, enjoying a multicultural three course meal, presentations from acting chair of the board Rev John Audu and international coordinator Tassie Ghata, plus time for socialising.

The evening also raised N800,000 (£1,500) which is going towards the cost of building our training centre.
